4 Ways to Build a Trans-inclusive Work space

£5.00

Description

This module explores how we can create a trans-safe workspace. Here's why creating a trans-safe workspace is important:

  • Inclusion and Equity: Everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected at work, regardless of their gender identity. A trans-safe workspace fosters a sense of belonging and creates a more inclusive environment for all employees.
  • Improved Employee Well-being: When transgender employees feel safe and supported at work, they can focus on their jobs and experience greater well-being. This can lead to increased productivity, creativity, and job satisfaction.
  • Reduced Discrimination: Transgender people can face discrimination and harassment in the workplace. A trans-safe workspace actively combats this by setting clear expectations for respectful behaviour and having a system for reporting and addressing incidents.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Top talent seeks companies with diverse and inclusive work environments. Creating a trans-safe workspace demonstrates your commitment to inclusion and makes your company a more attractive workplace for qualified transgender employees.
  • Positive Brand Image: Customers and partners increasingly know a company's diversity and inclusion practices. A trans-safe workspace shows your commitment to social responsibility and can enhance your brand image.

Find out how by taking these steps you can create a workplace where transgender employees feel safe, respected, and valued, and your working environment is more positive and productive for everyone.

Need more time?

We recognise that sometimes groups need more time for discussions and group work. This can mean that a two-hour session is just not long enough to explore the curriculum and engage in question and answer sessions. So we are you offering the opportunity to extend the session by an hour to allow your trainees the chance to explore the curriculum fully!
